Urgent Medical Fundraiser for Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch, a sweet dog from the Conroe Animal Shelter, recently suffered severe injuries after being hit by a car, leaving him with multiple fractures that require urgent surgical repair, including a potential tail amputation and a pelvic plate placement. With an estimated $5,000 needed for his surgeries and recovery, our dedicated orthopedic surgeon is optimistic, offering an 80% chance of success. Your support can give Pumpkin Patch a second chance at a pain-free, happy life. Please consider donating to his recovery fund and sharing his story to help us reach our goal.

Eight adorable puppies are gearing up for their journey to loving homes in Washington state! But we can’t get them there without you. We’re raising funds to cover their travel and health expenses, with a target of $250 per puppy (plus processing fees). Every contribution, big or small, helps give these pups a second chance. And if we exceed our goal, those funds will roll over to keep future transports rolling! Here are photos of the transport candidates to help you feel extra good about your donation:

Foster Feature: Aja

UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!
Come meet this beautiful girl at PetSmart in the Portofino Shopping CenterTOMORROW!

Aja is a beautiful 1-year-old husky/shepherd mix with striking blue eyes and a distinctive brown ear. She was rescued along with her mom and eight siblings by Operation Pets Alive and has grown up surrounded by a large foster pack in a rural setting. Now in boarding with her brother Eddie, she’s getting extra human socialization, individual attention, and is attending adoption events. Aja has made great progress—she’s crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit, shake, stay, and come. Though cautious with new people, Aja’s warm and loving nature shines through once she trusts you. She loves playing ball, splashing with the water hose, and going for walks or car rides. Treat her to a hard-boiled egg or chicken hearts and she’ll be your best friend. Aja is ready to be a loyal and stunning companion—come meet her and see if she’s the perfect match for you!

Aja is approximately 1.5 years old and under 50 pounds. Interested in meeting or adopting her? Submit an application on our website (no obligation to adopt) with her name and ID D230484: https://operationpetsalive.org/programs/adopt/

Not looking to adopt, but ready to open your home for a short time to an animal in need? Please TEXT Rebecca at 254-317-6132 or email rebecca@operationpetsalive.org if you can foster. Whether it’s a dog or cat, we have an animal you can help today! Unsure? Learn more about fostering with OPA by clicking here.
