Thank you for supporting Operation Pets Alive and believing in our mission to save homeless pets in Montgomery County. We wanted to make you aware of an exciting community event benefiting Operation Pets Alive. The IRONMAN Foundation sponsors a huge Ironman Kid’s Fun Run each year prior to the famous Ironman event. This is the second year, the IRONMAN Foundation is adding a Doggie Dash (1/2 mile or mile walk/run with your dog) following the kid’s race. This year’s event will be held at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Dr., The Woodlands, Texas 77380, on Saturday April 20, 2024.

There are several ways to participate and support OPA at this event.

2. Signup as a Vendor or Exhibitor: The Ironman Foundation is offering vendor and exhibitor spots for the event in exchange for a $100 fee payable to The World Triathlon Corporation. Last year the kid’s race event attracted more than 600 youth for the kid’s run and over 80 dogs with their families. This year’s event is sure to attract an even larger crowd! Fill out and submit the Exhibitor Application (download here) via email by April 5. Vendors must register in advance. Please email the form to Madeline Ellsworth at madeline.ellsworth@ironman.com to register. We ask that vendors participate by bringing a small souvenir or handout for participants. Examples include candy, bandanas, a small toy, stickers, business logo items, etc. You will need to provide your own tent, tables and chairs as needed.
3. Signup to Volunteer: OPA needs volunteers to help with route monitors, sell merchandise at the event, and refill water bowls around the venue as well as other general helpers. Please register to bring your personal dogs and/or fosters (dogs only) with your family to enjoy the fun and volunteer. There will be activities and food trucks.
